Modifying the parameters

      SPW Configuration

      This icon in the MGE UPS SYSTEMS program group is used to modify UM-Agent parameters.

      A configuration display should appear allowing you to configure the general parameters of Solution-Pac / WAN components that you have installed.

      • To run the editor manually, go into the directory c:\upsman\umeditor and enter the command umed

      The configuration screen allows you to configure the following parameters:

      IP address

      Community name

      Trap Ack timeout

      Trap retry count

      Serial port (Check carefully this parameter value)

      Baud rate

      Activate trap trace

      Log size

      Automatic startup

      Manager Table

      Log settings
